Deus Intervém em Favor de Seu Povo
"Ouvi, todos os povos, prestai atenção, ó Terra o tudo o que ela contém, e seja o Senhor de testemunha contra vis outros, o Senhor desde o Seu santo templo. Porque eis que o Senhor sai do Seu lugar, e desce, e anda sobre os altos da Terra". Miq. 1:2 e 3.
Numa crise é que o caráter é revelado. ... A grande prova final virá no fim do tempo da graça, quando será tarde de- mais para se suprirem as necessidades da alma. - PJ, 412.
Deus mantém unia conta com as nações. Durante todos os séculos da história deste mundo os maus obreiros têm estado acumulando ira para o dia da ira, e quando chegar plenamente o tempo em que a iniqüidade houver atingido o limite estabelecido da misericórdia divina, Sua clemência terminará. Quando as contas acumuladas nos livros de registo do Céu indicarem que a soma da transgressão está completa, virá a ira, sem mistura de misericórdia, e ver-se-á então que tremenda coisa é esgotar a paciência divina. Esta crise será atingida quando as nações se unirem na invalidação da lei de Deus.
Chegará o tempo em que os justos serão provocados a zelos por Deus devido à superabundante iniqüidade. Ninguém, a não ser o poder divino, pode deter a arrogância de Satanás unido a homens maus; porém, na hora de maior perigo para a igreja, serão oferecidas em seu favor as mais ferventes orações pelo fiel remanescente, e Deus ouvirá e atenderá na Própria ocasião em que a culpa do transgressor atingir o auge. Ele fará justiça "aos Seus escolhidos, que a Ele clamam dia e noite, embora pareça demorado em defendê-los". - 5T, 524.
A substituição do verdadeiro pelo falso é o último ato do drama. Quando esta substituição se tornar universal, Deus Se revelará. Quando as leis humanas forem exaltadas acima das leis de Deus, quando os poderes da Terra procurarem obrigar os homens a guardar o primeiro dia da semana, sabei que é chegado o tempo para Deus operar. Ele Se levantará em Sua majestade, e sacudirá terrivelmente a Terra. Sairá do Seu lugar para punir os habitantes do mundo por sua iniqüidade. A Terra descobrirá o seu sangue e já não encobrirá aqueles que foram mortos. - P.H, 23-04-1901.

DIOS INTERVIENE EN FAVOR DE SU PUEBLO
Oid, pueblos todos; está atenta, tierra, y cuanto hay en ti; Y Jehová el Señor, el Señor desde su santo templo, sea testigo contra vosotros. Porque he aquí, Jehová sale de su lugar, y descenderá y hollará las alturas de la tierra. (Miq. 1: 2, 3).
Es en la crisis cuando se revela el carácter. . . La gran prueba final viene a la terminación del tiempo de gracia, cuando será demasiado tarde para que la necesidad del alma sea suplida.*
Dios lleva cuenta con las naciones. A través de cada siglo de la historia de este mundo los malhechores han estado atesorando ira para el día de la ira; y cuando llegue el tiempo en que la iniquidad haya rebasado los límites de la misericordia de Dios, su paciencia habrá terminado. Cuando las cifras acumuladas en los libros de registro del cielo señalen la suma total de la transgresión, vendrá la ira sin mezcla de misericordia; entonces se verá lo tremendo que será el haber agotado la paciencia divina. Esta crisis se producirá cuando las naciones se unan para abolir la ley de Dios.
Vendrán días cuando los justos serán movidos a sentir celo por Dios a causa de la abundante iniquidad. Nada sino el poder divino puede enfrentar la arrogancia de Satanás unido con malos hombres; pero en la hora de mayor peligro para la iglesia el remanente fiel ofrecerá las más fervientes oraciones en su favor, y Dios oirá y responderá en el momento mismo cuando la culpabilidad de los transgresores haya llegado al máximo. Entonces "hará justicia a sus escogidos, que claman a él día y noche" y no "se tardará en responderles" (Luc. 18: 7).*
La sustitución de lo verdadero por lo falso es el último acto del drama. Cuando esta sustitución se torne universal, Dios se revelará a sí mismo. Cuando las leyes de los hombres sean exaltadas por encima de las leyes de Dios, cuando los poderes de esta tierra procuren forzar a los hombres a guardar el primer día de la semana, sabed que ha llegado el tiempo cuando Dios actuará. Se levantará en su majestad y sacudirá terriblemente la tierra. Saldrá de su lugar para castigar a los habitantes de la tierra por su iniquidad. La tierra descubrirá sus sangres y no cubrirá más a sus muertos.*

September 11 - God Intervenes on Behalf of His People
Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord God be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. For, behold, the Lord cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. Micah 1:2, 3.
It is in a crisis that character is revealed. . . . The great final test comes at the close of human probation, when it will be too late for the soul"s need to be supplied. {Mar 262.1}
God keeps a reckoning with the nations. Through every century of this world"s history evil workers have been treasuring up wrath against the day of wrath; and when the time fully comes that iniquity shall have reached the stated boundary of God"s mercy, His forbearance will cease. When the accumulated figures in heaven"s record books shall mark the sum of transgression complete, wrath will come, unmixed with mercy, and then it will be seen what a tremendous thing it is to have worn out the divine patience. This crisis will be reached when the nations shall unite in making void God"s law. {Mar 262.2}
The days will come when the righteous will be stirred to zeal for God because of the abounding iniquity. None but divine power can stay the arrogance of Satan united with evil men; but in the hour of the church"s greatest danger most fervent prayer will be offered in her behalf by the faithful remnant, and God will hear and answer at the very time when the guilt of the transgressor has reached its height. He will "avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them. {Mar 262.3}
The substitution of the false for the true is the last act in the drama. When this substitution becomes universal, God will reveal Himself. When the laws of men are exalted above the laws of God, when the powers of this earth try to force men to keep the first day of the week, know that the time has come for God to work. He will arise in His majesty, and will shake terribly the earth. He will come out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the world for their iniquity. The earth shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. {Mar 262.4}
