Prepara-te... Para te Encontrares com o Teu Deus
"Portanto, assim te farei, ó Israel! E porque isso te farei, prepara-te, ó Israel, para te encontrares com o tem Deus". Amós 4:12.
Muitos não compreendem o que devem ser a fim de viverem à vista do Senhor sem um sumo sacerdote no santuário, durante o tempo de angústia. Os que hão de receber o selo do Deus vivo, e ser protegidos, no tempo de angústia, devem refletir completamente a imagem de Jesus. - PE, 70.
Suas vestes devem estar imaculadas, o caráter liberto de pecado, pelo sangue da aspersão. Mediante a graça de Deus e seu próprio esforço diligente, devem eles ser vencedores na batalha contra o mal. Enquanto o j~ de investigação prosseguir no Céu, enquanto os pecados dos crentes arrependidos estão sendo removidos do santuário, deve haver. uma obra especial de purificação, ou de afastamento de pecado, entre o povo de Deus na Terra. - GC, 424.
Vi que muitos negligenciavam a preparação tão necessária, esperando que o tempo do "refrigério" e da "chuva serôdia" os habilitasse para estar era pé no dia do Senhor, e viver à Sua vista. Oh, quantos vi eu no tempo de angústia sem abrigo! Haviam negligenciado a necessária preparação, e portanto não podiam receber o refrigério que todos precisam ter para os habilitar a viver à vista de um Deus santo.
Os que recusam ser talhados pelos profetas, e deixam de purificar a alma na obediência da verdade toda, e se dispõem a crer que seu estado é muito melhor do que realmente é, chegarão ao tempo em que as pragas cairão, e hão de ver então que necessitam ser talhados e lavrados para o edifício. ...
Vi que ninguém poderia participar do "refrigério" a menos que obtivesse a vitória sobre toda tentação, orgulho, egoísmo, amor ao mundo, e sobre toda má palavra e ação. De- veríamos, portanto, estar-nos aproximando mais e mais do Senhor, e achar-nos fervorosamente à procura daquela preparação necessária para nos habilitar a estar em pé na bata- lha do dia do Senhor. Lembrem todos que Deus é santo, e que unicamente entes santos poderão morar em Sua presença. - PE, 71.

PREPÁRATE PARA ENCONTRARTE CON TU DIOS
Por tanto, de esta manera te haré a ti, oh Israel; y porque te he de hacer esto, prepárate para venir al encuentro de tu Dios, oh Israel. (Amós 4: 12).
Muchos ignoran lo que deben ser a fin de vivir a la vista del Señor durante el tiempo de angustia, cuando no haya sumo sacerdote en el santuario. Los que reciban el sello del Dios vivo y sean protegidos en el tiempo de angustia deben reflejar plenamente la imagen de Jesús.*
Sus vestiduras deberán estar sin mácula; sus caracteres, purificados de todo pecado por la sangre de la aspersión. Por la gracia de Dios y sus propios y diligentes esfuerzos deberán ser vencedores en la lucha contra el mal. Mientras se prosigue el juicio investigador en el cielo, mientras que los pecados de los creyentes arrepentidos son quitados del santuario, debe llevarse a cabo una obra especial de purificación, de liberación del pecado, entre el pueblo de Dios en la tierra.*
Vi que muchos descuidaban la preparación necesaria, esperando que el tiempo del "refrigerio" y la "lluvia tardía" los preparasen para sostenerse en el día del Señor y vivir en su presencia. ¡Oh! ¡Y a cuántos vi sin amparo en el tiempo de angustia! Habían descuidado la preparación necesaria, y por lo tanto no podían recibir el refrigerio indispensable para sobrevivir a la vista de un Dios santo.
Quienes se nieguen a ser tallados por los profetas y a purificar sus almas obedeciendo a toda la verdad, quienes presuman estar en condición mucho mejor de lo que están en realidad, llegarán al tiempo en que caigan las plagas y verán que les hubiera sido necesario que los tallasen y encuadrasen para la edificación. . .
Vi que nadie podrá participar del "refrigerio" a menos que haya vencido todas las tentaciones y triunfado del orgullo el egoísmo, el amor al mundo y toda palabra y obra malas. Por lo tanto, debemos acercamos más y más al Señor y buscar anhelosamente la preparación necesaria que nos habilite para permanecer firmes en la batalla, en el día del Señor. Recuerden todos que Dios es santo y que únicamente seres santos podrán morar alguna vez en su presencia.*

September 3 - Prepare to Meet Thy God
Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel. Amos 4:12.
Many do not realize what they must be in order to live in the sight of the Lord without a high priest in the sanctuary through the time of trouble. Those who receive the seal of the living God and are protected in the time of trouble must reflect the image of Jesus fully. {Mar 254.1}
Their robes must be spotless, their characters must be purified from sin by the blood of sprinkling. Through the grace of God and their own diligent effort, they must be conquerors in the battle with evil. While the investigative judgment is going forward in heaven, while the sins of penitent believers are being removed from the sanctuary, there is to be a special work of purification, of putting away of sin, among God"s people upon earth. {Mar 254.2}
I saw that many were neglecting the preparation so needful and were looking to the time of "refreshing" and the "latter rain" to fit them to stand in the day of the Lord and to live in His sight. Oh, how many I saw in the time of trouble without a shelter! They had neglected the needful preparation; therefore they could not receive the refreshing that all must have to fit them to live in the sight of a holy God. {Mar 254.3}
Those who refuse to be hewed by the prophets and fail to purify their souls in obeying the whole truth, and who are willing to believe that their condition is far better than it really is, will come up to the time of the falling of the plagues, and then see that they needed to be hewed and squared for the building. . . . {Mar 254.4}
I saw that none could share the "refreshing" unless they obtain the victory over every besetment, over pride, selfishness, love of the world, and over every wrong word and action. We should, therefore, be drawing nearer and nearer to the Lord and be earnestly seeking that preparation necessary to enable us to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. Let all remember that God is holy and that none but holy beings can ever dwell in His presence. {Mar 254.5}
