Os Espíritos e a Lei Dominical
"À lei e ao testemunho! Se eles não falarem desta maneira, jamais verão a alva". Isa. 8:20.
O poder operador de milagres manifesto pelo espiritismo, exercerá sua influência contra os que preferem obedecer a Deus a obedecer aos homens. Comunicações por parte dos espíritos declararão que Deus os enviou para convencer de seu erro os que rejeitam o domingo, afirmando que as leis do país deveriam ser obedecidas como a lei de Deus. Lamentarão a grande impiedade no mundo, secundando o testemunho dos ensinadores religiosos de que o estado de aviltamento da moral se deve à profanação do domingo. Grande será a indignação despertada contra todos os que se recusam a aceitar-lhes o testemunho. -GC, 589.
Os que se opõem aos ensinos do espiritismo, enfrentam não somente aos homens, mas também a Satanás e a seus anjos. Entraram em luta contra os principados, potestades e espíritos maus dos ares. Satanás não cederá uma polegada de terreno sequer, a- menos que seja rechaçado pelo poder dos mensageiros celestiais. O povo de Deus deve ser capaz de o enfrentar, como fez nosso Salvador, com as palavras: "Está escrito". Satanás pode citar as Escrituras hoje, como o fez nos dias de Cristo, pervertendo-lhes os ensinos para apoiar seus enganos. Os que quiserem estar em pé neste tempo de perigo, devem compreender por si mesmos o testemunho das Escrituras.
Muitos serão defrontados por espíritos de demônios personificando parentes ou amigos queridos, e declarando as mais perigosas heresias. Estes visitantes apelarão para os nossos mais ternos sentimentos de simpatia, efetuando prodígios para apoiarem suas pretensões. Devemos estar preparados para resistir a eles com a verdade bíblica de que os mortos nada sabem, e de que os que desta maneira aparecem são espíritos de demônios. - GC, 558 e 559.
Instrumentos satânicos em forma humana tomarão parte neste último grande conflito para se opor à edificação do reino de Deus. E anjos celestiais com aparência humana também estarão no campo de ação. Y se le permitió Infundir aliento a la Imagen de la bestia, para que la Imagen hablase e hiciese matar a todo el que no la adorase. (Apoc. 13: 15).
EI poder milagroso que se manifiesta en el espiritismo ejercerá su influencia en perjuicio de los que prefieren obedecer a Dios antes que a los hombres. Habrá comunicaciones de espíritus que declararán que Dios los envió para convencer de su error a los que rechazan el domingo y afirmarán que se debe obedecer a las leyes del país como a la ley de Dios. Lamentarán la gran maldad existente en el mundo y apoyarán el testimonio de los ministros de la religión en el sentido de que la degradación moral se debe a la profanación del domingo. Grande será la indignación despertada contra todos los que se nieguen a aceptar sus aseveraciones.*
Los que se oponen a las enseñanzas del espiritismo atacan no sólo a los hombres, sino también a Satanás y a sus ángeles. Han emprendido la lucha contra principados, potestades y malicias espirituales en los aires. Satanás no cederá una pulgada de terreno mientras no sea rechazado por el poder de mensajeros celestiales. El pueblo de Dios debe hacerle frente como lo hizo nuestro Salvador, con las palabras: "Escrito está". Satanás puede hoy citar las Santas Escrituras como en tiempo de Cristo, y volverá a pervertir las enseñanzas de ellas para sostener sus engaños. Los que quieren permanecer firmes en estos tiempos de peligro deben comprender por sí mismos el testimonio de las Escrituras.
Muchos tendrán que vérselas con espíritus de demonios que personificarán a parientes o amigos queridos y que proclamarán las herejías más peligrosas. Estos espíritus apelarán a nuestros más tiernos sentimientos de simpatía y harán milagros con el fin de sostener sus asertos. Debemos estar listos para resistirles con la verdad bíblica de que los muertos no saben nada y de que los que aparecen como tales son espíritus de demonios.*
Agentes satánicos en forma humana participarán en este último gran conflicto para oponerse a la edificación del reino de Dios. Y ángeles celestiales con apariencia humana estarán en el campo de acción. Los dos bandos opuestos seguirán existiendo hasta el fin del último gran capítulo de la historia de este mundo.*

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isa. 8:20.
The miracle-working power manifested through spiritualism will exert its influence against those who choose to obey God rather than men. Communications from the spirits will declare that God has sent them to convince the rejecters of Sunday of their error, affirming that the laws of the land should be obeyed as the law of God. They will lament the great wickedness in the world and second the testimony of religious teachers that the degraded state of morals is caused by the desecration of Sunday. Great will be the indignation excited against all who refuse to accept their testimony. {Mar 167.1}
Those who oppose the teachings of spiritualism are assailing, not men alone, but Satan and his angels. They have entered upon a contest against principalities and powers and wicked spirits in high places. Satan will not yield one inch of ground except as he is driven back by the power of heavenly messengers. The people of God should be able to meet him, as did our Saviour, with the words: "It is written." Satan can quote Scripture now as in the days of Christ, and he will pervert its teachings to sustain his delusions. Those who would stand in this time of peril must understand for themselves the testimony of the Scriptures. {Mar 167.2}
Many will be confronted by the spirits of devils personating beloved relatives or friends and declaring the most dangerous heresies. These visitants will appeal to our tenderest sympathies and will work miracles to sustain their pretensions. We must be prepared to withstand them with the Bible truth that the dead know not anything and that they who thus appear are the spirits of devils. {Mar 167.3}
Satanic agencies in human form will take part in this last great conflict to oppose the building up of the kingdom of God. And heavenly angels in human guise will be on the field of action. The two opposing parties will continue to exist till the closing up of the last great chapter in this world"s history. {Mar 167.4}
