Uniões Trabalhistas e Trustes
"Sede, pois, irmãos, pacientes, até a vinda do Senhor. Eis que o lavrador aguarda com paciência o precioso fruto da terra, até receber as primeiras e as últimas chuvas". S. Tia- 5-7.
Os sindicatos serão um dos instrumentos que trarão sobre ,a Terra um tempo de angústia tal como nunca houve desde o princípio do mundo. - VC, 11.
Em todas as nossas grandes cidades haverá uma concatenação em grupos pelas confederações e uniões formadas. Homens dominarão outros homens e deles exigirão muita coisa. A vida dos que recusam ligar-se a essas, uniões estará em perigo. - MS 145, 1902.
A obra do povo de Deus é preparar-se para os acontecimentos futuros, que logo lhes sobrevirão com força assombrosa. Formar-se-ão no mundo gigantescos monopólios. Os homens se unirão em sindicatos que os envolverão nas malhas do inimigo. Alguns homens combinarão segurar todos os meios que se possam obter em certos ramos de negócio. Formar-se-ão sindicatos, e os que a eles se reunir serão homens marcados.
Essas uniões são um dos sinais dos últimos dias. Os homens se estão unindo em feixes prontos a ser queimados. Podem eles ser membros da igreja, mas enquanto pertencerem a essas uniões, possivelmente não poderão observar os mandamentos de Deus, pois pertencer a essas uniões significa desrespeitar todo o Decálogo.
"Amarás ao Senhor teu Deus de todo o teu coração, e de toda a tua alma, e de todas as tuas forças, e de todo o teu entendimento, e ao teu próximo como a ti mesma". ... Como podem os homens obedecer a essas palavras e formar combinações que roubam às classes mais pobres as vantagens que justamente lhes pertencem, privando-as de comprar ou vender, exceto sob certas condições? - VC, 11 e 12.
Aqueles que pretendem ser filhos de Deus, em caso algum devem unir-se às uniões trabalhistas já formadas, ou que ainda se formarão. Isto Deus proíbe. Não podem os que estudam as profecias ver e compreender o que adiante de nós está? - Idem, p. 13.

GREMIOS Y MONOPOLIOS
Por tanto, hermanos, tened paciencia hasta la venida del Señor. Mirad cómo el labrador espera el precioso fruto de la tierra, aguardando con paciencia hasta que reciba la lluvia temprana y la tardía. (Sant. 5: 7).
Los gremios serán uno de los instrumentos que traerán sobre esta tierra un tiempo de angustia como nunca ha habido desde que el mundo fue creado.
La obra del pueblo de Dios consiste en prepararse para los acontecimientos del futuro, los que pronto lo sobrecogerán con fuerza abrumadora. En el mundo se formarán monopolios gigantescos. Los hombres se asociarán en gremios que los encerrará en el redil del enemigo. Unos pocos hombres se unirán para apoderarse de todos los medios que puedan obtenerse en ciertos tipo de negocios. Se formarán gremios de obreros y los que rehuse unirse a ellos serán hombres marcados. . .
Estos gremios constituyen una de las señales de los último días. Los hombres están siendo unidos en atados listos para se quemados. Puede ser que sean miembros de la iglesia, pero mientras pertenezcan a esas asociaciones, no pueden guardar los mandamientos de Dios, porque el pertenecer a ellas implica despreciar todo el Decálogo.
"Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma, y con toda tu mente y con todas tus fuerzas. . . y. . . a tu prójimo como a ti mismo" (Mar. 12: 30, 31). . . ¿Cómo pueden los hombres obedecer estas palabras, y formar combinación que privan a las clases más pobres de las ventajas que les pertenecen con justicia, y les impiden comprar o vender, a no ser bajo ciertas condiciones?
Los que pretenden ser hijos de Dios en ningún caso debería unirse a los gremios que ya están formados o que se van a formar. El Señor lo prohíbe. ¿No pueden ver los que estudian la profecías lo que hay delante de nosotros?*
Pronto habrá que hacer frente a graves crisis, y queremos estar escondidos en la hendidura de la roca para que podamos ver a Jesús y ser vivificados por su Santo Espíritu. No tenemos tiempo que perder ni siquiera un instante.*

June 23 - Labour Unions and Trusts
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. James 5:7.
The trades unions will be one of the agencies that will bring upon this earth a time of trouble such as has not been since the world began. {Mar 182.1}
In all our great cities there will be a binding up in bundles by the confederacies and unions formed. Men will rule other men and demand much of them. The lives of those who refuse to unite with these unions, will be in peril. {Mar 182.2}
The work of the people of God is to prepare for the events of the future, which will soon come upon them with blinding force. In the world gigantic monopolies will be formed. Men will bind themselves together in unions that will wrap them in the folds of the enemy. A few men will combine to grasp all the means to be obtained in certain lines of business. Trades unions will be formed, and those who refuse to join these unions will be marked men. . . . {Mar 182.3}
These unions are one of the signs of the last days. Men are binding up in bundles ready to be burned. They may be church members, but while they belong to these unions, they cannot possibly keep the commandments of God; for to belong to these unions means to disregard the entire Decalogue. {Mar 182.4}
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself." . . . How can men obey these words, and form combinations that rob the poorer classes of the advantages which justly belong to them, preventing them from buying or selling, except under certain conditions. {Mar 182.5}
Those who claim to be the children of God are in no case to bind up with the labour unions that are formed or that shall be formed. This the Lord forbids. Cannot those who study the prophecies see and understand what is before us? {Mar 182.6}
Important issues must soon be met, and we wish to be hid in the cleft of the rock, that we may see Jesus, and be quickened by His Holy Spirit. We have no time to lose, not a moment. {Mar 182.7}
