O Selo de Deus e o Sinal da Besta
"Liga o testemunho, sela a lei entre os Meus discípulos". Isa. 8:16.
Os justos vivos receberão o selo de Deus antes do fim da graça. - 1ME, 66.
O sinal, ou selo, de Deus é revelado na observância do sábado do sétimo dia o memorial divino da criação. A marca da besta é o oposto disso - a observância do primeiro dia da semana. - 3TS, 232.
A observância do domingo ainda não é o sinal da besta, e não o será até que saia o decreto induzindo os homens a adorar este sábado idólatra. Chegará o tempo em que esse dia será a prova, mas esse tempo ainda não chegou. - 7BC, 977.
Ninguém recebeu até agora o sinal da besta. Ainda não chegou o tempo de prova. Há cristãos verdadeiros em todas as igrejas, inclusive a comunidade católico-romana. Ninguém é condenado sem que haja recebido iluminação e se compenetrado da obrigatoriedade do quarto mandamento. Mas quando for expedido o decreto que impõe o sábado espúrio, e o alto clamor do terceiro anjo advertir os homens contra a adoração da besta e de sua imagem, será traçada com clareza a linha divisória entre o falso e o verdadeiro. Então os que ainda persistirem na transgressão receberão o sinal da besta. - Ev., 234.
Se a iluminação da verdade vos foi apresentada, revelando o sábado do quarto mandamento, e mostrando que não há na Palavra de Deus fundamento para a observância do domingo, e não obstante vos aferrais ao falso dia de repouso, recusando santificar o sábado a que Deus chama "Meu santo dia", recebeis o sinal da besta. Quando ocorre isso? Ao obedecerdes ao decreto que vos ordena deixar de trabalhar no domingo e adorar a Deus, conquanto saibais que não existe na Bíblia uma única palavra que mostre não passar o domingo de um dia comum de trabalho, consentis em receber o sinal da besta, e rejeitais o selo de Deus. - Ev., 235.
Dentro em pouco todos os que são filhos de Deus terão o Seu selo colocado sobre eles. Oxalá seja ele colocado sobre a nossa fronte! Quem pode suportar o pensamento de ser omitido quando o anjo se puser a selar os servos de Deus em suas frontes? - RH, 29-05-1889.

Ata el testimonio, sella la ley entre mis discípulos. (Isa. 8: 16).
Los justos vivos recibirán el sello de Dios antes de la terminación del tiempo de gracia.*
La señal o sello de Dios se revela en la observancia del séptimo día, monumento recordativo de la creación por el Señor. . . La marca de la bestia es lo opuesto a esto: La observancia del primer día de la semana.*
La observancia del domingo no constituye aún la marca de la bestia y no lo será hasta tanto se promulgue el decreto que induzca a los hombres a venerar ese día de reposo idolátrico. Llegará el momento cuando ese día se transformará en una prueba, pero esa época no ha llegado aún.*
Nadie hasta ahora ha recibido la marca de la bestia. El tiempo de prueba no ha llegado aún. Hay cristianos verdaderos en todas las iglesias, sin exceptuar la comunidad católica romana. Nadie será condenado hasta que haya tenido la luz y haya comprendido la obligación de obedecer el cuarto mandamiento. Pero cuando se promulgue el decreto que ponga en vigor el falso día de reposo, y el fuerte clamor del tercer ángel amoneste a los hombres contra la adoración de la bestia y su imagen, se trazará claramente la línea que separa lo falso de lo verdadero. Entonces, los que continúen en transgresión, recibirán la marca de la bestia. . .
Si se os ha presentado la luz de la verdad que revela el día de reposo señalado por el cuarto mandamiento, y que muestra que en la Palabra de Dios no hay fundamento para la observancia del domingo, y sin embargo seguís aferrándoos al falso día de reposo, rehusando observar el sábado que Dios llama "mi día santo", recibís la marca de la bestia. ¿Cuándo ocurre esto? Cuando obedecéis el decreto que os ordena dejar de trabajar el domingo para adorar a Dios, mientras sabéis que no hay una sola palabra en la Biblia que muestre que el domingo no sea un día de trabajo, común, entonces consentís en recibir la marca de la bestia y rechazáis el sello de Dios.*
De aquí a poco todo hijo de Dios llevará su sello. ¡Oh, si pudiéramos recibirlo en nuestra frente! ¿Quién puede soportar la idea de ser pasado por alto por el ángel que sale para sellar a los siervos de Dios en sus frentes?*

July 22 - The Seal of God and the Mark of the Beast
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. Isa. 8:16.
The living righteous will receive the seal of God prior to the close of probation. {Mar 211.1}
The sign, or seal, of God is revealed in the observance of the seventh-day Sabbath, the Lord"s memorial of creation. . . . The mark of the beast is the opposite of this--the observance of the first day of the week. {Mar 211.2}
Sundaykeeping is not yet the mark of the beast, and will not be until the decree goes forth causing men to worship this idol sabbath. The time will come when this day will be the test, but that time has not come yet. {Mar 211.3}
No one has yet received the mark of the beast. The testing time has not yet come. There are true Christians in every church, not excepting the Roman Catholic communion. None are condemned until they have had the light and have seen the obligation of the fourth commandment. But when the decree shall go forth enforcing the counterfeit sabbath, and the loud cry of the third angel shall warn men against the worship of the beast and his image, the line will be clearly drawn between the false and the true. Then those who still continue in transgression will receive the mark of the beast. {Mar 211.4}
If the light of truth has been presented to you, revealing the Sabbath of the fourth commandment, and showing that there is no foundation in the Word of God for Sunday observance, and yet you still cling to the false sabbath, refusing to keep holy the Sabbath which God calls "my holy day," you receive the mark of the beast. When does this take place? When you obey the decree that commands you to cease from labour on Sunday and worship God, while you know that there is not a word in the Bible showing Sunday to be other than a common working day, you consent to receive the mark of the beast, and refuse the seal of God. {Mar 211.5}
In a little while every one who is a child of God will have His seal placed upon him. O that it may be placed upon our foreheads! Who can endure the thought of being passed by when the angel goes forth to seal the servants of God in their foreheads? {Mar 211.6}
